When you think of Mumford & Sons, you thing guitar twangs not boom-bap. The group might be firmly planted in their folk-rock roots, but their frontman Marcus Mumford might be leaning in another route.
Marcus has been crafting his inner hip-hop side lately. Sitting at the feet of 88-Keys, he’s been learning how to make what the cool people call, “hip-hop beats.”
Mumford spoke with NME about his love of hip-hop, growing up listening to rap and of course, his groups 3rd studio album, Wilder Mind.
Mumford also recently proclaimed in Billboard that Kanye is the “only rockstar left.” I’m Yeezy replied with, “Yes.”
