Fabolous “Young O.G. Project” Enters The Billboard 200 With 71K Sold

Fabolous is feeling fabulous today. Fab changed up his team, taking on Roc Nation for his management and decided to release his new album in a new way. His new methods seem to have worked.

His sixth studio album, Young O.G. Project was released only on digital platforms last week. This week, his new album climbs it’s way up the Billboard 200 charts with 71,000 digital copies sold. That was enough to make his album #12 this week.

Fab’s new project was released solely on iTunes. A revolutionary move for an artist who’s previous 5 projects were all releasd through traditional methods.

Nicki Minaj’s The Pinkprint remains the top-selling hip-hop album. Nick managed to hold onto the #2 spot for a second straight week with 156,000 units. Fellow Roc Nation affiliate J. Cole’s continues to add to his already-gold 2014 Forest Hills Drive. Coming in at  No. 6 with 120,000 units.
