Earlier this year, workers in Seattle changed minimum wage laws in the city and possibly across the country.
Workers in the city protested and pushed for a new bill raising the minimum wage from $7.25 to a whopping $15 per hour. The raise was a direct reflection of the cost of living in the city and the widening gap between what workers earn and what executives earn annually.
The battle that was fought in Seattle has spawned similar fights in cities across the U.S., most recently Atlanta.
But would the raise in minimum wage be a good thing for workers or bad thing overall for the country?
