Police officers are on the search for an Iraq war vet who killed 6 people and wounded 1 yesterday afternoon.
Authorities are searching for 35-year-old Bradley William Stone, who they say shot and killed six family members and wounded another Monday in a rampage that left dead bodies in three different homes in Montgomery County, Pa.
Some schools were closed Tuesday, hospitals and other public places increased security and residents remained on heightened alert, even as officials lifted a shelter-in-place order for parts of Bucks County, where a knife-wielding, fatigue-clad man resembling suspect Stone attempted a carjacking Monday night.
A SWAT team storming of a house in Pennsburg, where Stone was believed to be holed up, turned up nothing, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported, and authorities said Monday evening that they did not know his whereabouts.
“As I stand here right now, we do not know where he is,” Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said shortly after 6 p.m.
Later Monday night, however, police in neighboring Bucks County swarmed an area outside Doylestown after a reported attempted carjacking by a man said to have been dressed in military fatigues and similar in appearance to Stone. But there was no immediate confirmation that the carjacking suspect was Stone.
The worst part of this news is that a number of African-American teens, unarmed have been shot dead by police officer whose first reaction was to shoot when they saw their suspect. This guys kills 6 people and police don’t even know where he is?
